I should work for Star magazine. I was like the paparazzi on my balcony a little after 6.30pm, knowing she would show up just across the way. I had seen her last night, & I couldn't sleep being so close & not doing anything about it. So I decided today that I had to do something. I waited all day. Patiently, of course. & just as I anticipated, she appeared, & I got the shot. I took three shots just to be safe, one for each filter on my phone not knowing how each would turn out. Granted my subject came out rather small as phone cameras seem to do, but nevertheless I accomplished my goal, & captured a moment that could only happen once daily. Moonrise. Is that a word? If no, why is it not? Why does the sun get a word for rising above the horizon & the moon doesn't? Is the phenomena accompanying the nightly appearance of the moon not a spectacle? What's that? There's no phenomena when it comes to the moon? Will I ever stop asking these rhetorical qu...
