The fiction we live in

I never realised my blog was getting visits from weird people from weird countries. I mean Algeria? How bout Montenegro? Thai people, i understand. They're probably hoping to stumble upon a porno blogspot. Before getting the flag counter, i thought no one actually visits at all. Maybe these people accidentally clicked on my page perhaps? Or maybe this flag counter is a rip off? I dont know. One more thing i dont know is the country of the last flag at the bottom. Looks like Austria. Or is that Bangladesh? Is there even such a country? How many countries are there now in this world anyways? Last time i checked, there were 257. I overheard the conversation between my principal & my history teacher conversing 3 years ago on where to bring the class for an educational class trip for the march holidays. Ok i actually eavesdropped. But whats the difference. So yeah. I learned there were 257 countries at that time & they decided to bring the class to Kota Baru. & me, i stayed ...

"Your Future Depends On Your Dreams"... So Go To Sleep

I saw an article the other day while flipping through the papers. The one about the flag not much people give a damn about. Flag day. The authorities say that the students dont show any commitment at all when performing the task. What do they want from the students? Passion? For something they force kids to do? Its good enough students actually bother to fill it up abit or even show up on the day itself. But apparently, those flag day organisers now put expectations on students for an unpaid job with no incentives. To fill it up as though your life depends on it. Or at least your cca points or whatever other unnecessarily useless points. Its for charity i mean so why do we have to work our socks off for donations? I pity the kids of now who cant overlook this new rule. The authorities shouldnt take the fun out of voluntary work being as it is, voluntary work. Back then, it was simple. Take a can & do your best. I remember the time when i had to beg. I spent as much as 1 out of the ...

Whenever You Find The Key To Success, Someone Changes The Lock

When did it get so hard to make friends? When we were young, all we had to do was come up to someone at the playground & give him or her a hand with the shits they're doing & hey, we're buddies. These days, we try to be helpful, we 're called meddlers. I am a meddler there's no denying that. & theres no harm in sticking your nose in someones business. But sometimes, it just doesnt help to be helpful. We middle agers may have forgotten how to be friendly. But in time, we'll learn again. I'm talking about the oldies. How many times have you seen old people who dont know each other, cross paths & instantly become friends. They talk about the most trivial thing & suddenly, senseless jokes follows & they chat away like they've known each other since birth. If u can't comprehend what i'm saying, you should try camping out at the old folks corner & observe. If you're still clueless, you can drive down memory lane to the juven...
